Ingredients and Method
Ingredients
350g strong white bread flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp instant yeast
15g soft unsalted butter
225ml water
Method
In a large bowl combine flour, salt and yeast. Add in the butter, then slowly add in warm water until the dough is soft but not too wet.
Knead for around 4 minutes until the dough ball is smooth.
Transfer into an oiled bowl, cover with a tea towel and leave to rise in a warm place for around 45 minutes to an hour until the dough has doubled in size.
Knock back the dough and divide into 8-10 rolls pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and place on a baking tray. Gently push down to flatten.
Preheat oven to 220/200 Fan. Then cover and leave dough balls for another 30 minutes.
