Indexable end mills are designed with replaceable carbide insert(s) on the cutting edge(s). During the cutting process, when one of the inserts dulls, simply invert the insert, and use another tip to cut. In this way, there is no need to sharpen the dull insert. Most of the indexable end mills using carbide inserts, but also using ceramic inserts, polycrystalline cubic boron nitride (PCBN) inserts, or polycrystalline diamond(PCD) inserts. Our indexable end mills mainly use TPG22, TPG32, APKT1604, APKT11T3, and APMT1604 insert(s) to mill steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
Features:
- R8 shank; Standard threading: 7/16"-20.
- Reduces cutting forces
- Maximum rigidity.
- Forged steel body.
- Each cutter is installed with APKT1604 carbide inserts for cutting steel. Use M4 x 8 screws.
- Each cutter is engraved with the cutting diameters, cutting angles, and insert number on the shank.
Tool angles:
- Cutting rake angle: 11° to 13°
- Radial rake angle: 11° to 13°
- Axial rake angle: 6° to 10°
- Setting angle: 90°
